The mission of Patriot PAWS Service Dogs is to train and provide Service Dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence. Patriot PAWS builds partnerships with state and community organizations to help develop and support this goal.
In order to support our mission, Patriot PAWS hosts annual fundraising events - one of which being a Charity Golf Tournament. To raise additional funds, we raffle off items at the tournament, as each Patriot PAWS Service Dog takes 18 - 24 months to train and $35,000.
These lifechanging Service Dogs primarily assist with mitigating mobile disabilities however, are also trained to assist with Traumatic Brain Injuries, Post-Traumatic Stress, or a combination of all three disabilities. When placed with their veteran, Patriot PAWS Service Dogs truly create a rippled effect of positivity not only in the veteran's life, but in their families as well.
