Vision: Providing quality, compassionate, family-centered healthcare to North Texas children with limited access to care.

PediPlace is a non-profit pediatric healthcare practice for children from birth through eighteen years of age who are uninsured or who receive Medicaid or CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) benefits. PediPlace is designated by the State of Texas as a site serving a medically underserved population. PediPlace is the only organization of its type, size and scope in North Texas not affiliated with a hospital system. For 26 years, we have provided a medical home for children that tend to be from low income families who otherwise would go without care or who would unnecessarily use the emergency room. Our primary care pediatric services are designed to meet the unique situation of each patient and include:

· Treatment of illnesses         

· Preventive (Well-Child) care including immunizations

· Hearing and vision screenings

· Treatment of asthma and other chronic illnesses

·  Behavioral Health Screenings  to check for signs of depression and/or mental illness

·  Referrals for specialized care

·  Newborn parent health and child safety education
