Mission Statement
The mission of People for Animals, Inc. is to prevent animal suffering through affordable essential
healthcare, public policy advocacy, and community programs.

People for Animals, Inc. was founded in 1980 to provide low-cost, high-volume spay/neuter services in
New Jersey. Since then we have become the leading provider of spay/neuter services with clinics in
Hillside, Robbinsville, and Millville. We helped 31,500 animals last year!
Our key service to the public and animal welfare groups is affordable, routine pet care which is aimed at
specifically driving more animals to early spay/neuter procedures to prevent accidental pregnancies,
make pet ownership more affordable, and reduce the numbers of homeless animals in local shelters.
PFA provides TNR training and support to community members and groups to ensure that community
cats are managed humanely. In 2021 we launched our Whole Families Program – PFA’s Social Worker
assists people in need to help them resolve the issues in their life that may lead to poor health in their
pet or surrender to a shelter. Talking to pet parents about their needs and life challenges allows us to
intervene early and help keep Whole Families together before a crisis develops.
