Person Centered Care Services is located in Staten Island, NY and we work with and serve people with Developmental Disabilities under NY State’s OPWDD. Staten Island is viewed as small town even though we have a population of 475,000 people. We look out for one another. This inspired our Disability Ally Initiative. Person Centered Care Services (PCCS) provides Home and Community Based Services Waiver supports under the auspices of OPWDD, OMH and OASAS, creating equitable opportunities, currently, for over 600 people with a developmental disability, mental health issues, and substance use disorders. We view support as a priority in order to help people with disabilities achieve independence, with support, and to have a high quality of life. PCCS provides innovative individualized support strategies to help eliminate barriers for people with a disability in a variety of areas such as relationships, emotional health, sexual health, careers, education, and housing.
