I am writing on behalf of the Philadelphia Solar Energy Association, a 501 C-3, environmental education organization.
Each Spring we host the Philadelphia Junior Solar Sprint, in which middle school students design, build and ultimately race their model solar-powered cars. It is a truly engaging and energizing day of friendly competition! This year’s event will take place on Saturday, May 31, on Drexel University’s Campus.
We generally have 75-100 racers, and would be delighted if the Museum of Illusions could donate tickets or gift certificates for our Raffle. This is a free event for all student participants, and our Raffle helps to cover the organization’s considerable expenses. Of course, we’ll publicly acknowledge all donations at the event, and in all media messages.
