Phoebe Ministries is guided by its mission to provide compassionate care to residents of its communities, regardless of their ability to pay. Over fifty-six percent of our skilled nursing population, and a smaller percentage in other living situations, rely on Phoebe’s charitable care program. Phoebe provides millions of dollars in charitable care to our residents each year. The elderly and the poor – often forgotten in our society – are at the heart of our mission and ministry.
Proceeds from the Gala will help support the Phoebe Institute on Aging (PIA). The mission of the PIA is to provide an annual conference at which our healthcare professionals & our community can be educated on current issues facing our seniors. In addition, it helps to provide Phoebe employees’ with scholarships. Information about the PIA and its programs can be found at www.phoebe.org/piaconference.
