Pilot Light’s ground-breaking approach to education combines robust teacher training with proprietary PreK-12 lessons that use food as a tool to engage students and advance knowledge in core subjects. Each lesson incorporates a key core academic standard, so teachers don’t need “extra” time to implement our model. Rather, it is woven into everyday instruction in math, science, or reading. The hands-on nature of our lessons fosters engagement, building connections as well as retention of content.
