Pink Warrior Advocates is a breast cancer non profit out of New Braunfels, Texas that serves our county as well as 21 surrounding counties. We also have 2 national programs that serve breast cancer warriors all across the country. Our mission is to empower those who have been diagnosed while advocating for their emotional and financial wellness.

Our local programs include a financial assistance program ($10,000 a month) that can help breast cancer warriors pay their mortgage, car payment, for groceries or even for treatment. We also have an emergency fund that we can grant a warrior if they are in immediate need (eviction, being denied treatment due to bills being overdue).

We also offer 3 monthly meetups where we provide dinner, drinks, activities, and a safe space for our warriors and their loved ones to discuss their breast cancer journey with people who understand. These meetings are called "T.V. THURSDAYS", which stands for "Trust and Vulnerability Through Diagnosis". We have a newly diagnosed group, a Stage IV group, and a large group that is for anyone thats been diagnosed. They are also able to bring a friend, family member, or support person to this group because we offer a cosurivor group that meets at the same time. These meetings are typically our warriors favorite Thursdays of the month and are far more than just a "support group". These meetings help provide education, understanding and MOST importantly, HOPE.

Our Metawish program is for our stage IV warriors and will grant them a once in a lifetime wish. It ranges from a car, a puppy, to a Disney trip or a family vacation to Colorado. This month we just helped a stage IV warrior move into a new hair salon space, paid for 3 months of her rent and helped her paint and decorate the entire room so that she could continue to provide for her family while working in a space that is completely her.

We also have 2 national programs including our care kits that we send out to warriors undergoing breast surgery or undergoing treatments like chemotherapy and radiation. All of these programs are completely funded by fundraising year round. Every dollar that we raise goes back into our non profit. We currently have 2 full time employees and a board comprised of passionate individuals that volunteer their time in order to continue the mission that our founder created 8 years ago.
