The Pittie Project, Inc., is a 501c3 non-profit charity that provides funds for spay and neuters for Pitbull type dogs in NJ, parts of NY & PA. More than one third of New Jersey's shelter's dog intake is made up of bully breeds, but these dogs make up less than a tenth of dog adoptions. That means that half the dogs on any adoption floor at any point in time are bully breeds. Our mission is to get into communities and offer support and education to reduce the number of bully type breeds in shelters.
