Pivot is a youth shelter that serves young people that are unhoused, in the junevnile justice department system, or struggling to provide for themselves. we have a shelter that serves young people ages 12-17 who need a safe and secure place to stay while in DHS custody or who have run away from an unsafe home. While living with us they go to school, receive counseling, and have a safe clean bed. We have a Community Intervention center for youth who encounter law enforcement so we can connect those youth with meals, housing, counseling and mentoring. The CIC also helps them proceed with their court date and community service. We have the Point which is an overnight shelter for young people experiecing homelessness. The Point is open everyday at 4pm for Drop-In services so a warm meal, laundry, access to computers, and case worker services. Young people can stay overnight until 10 am the next day. Lastly we have 26 Tiny Homes and are building 15 more currently for young peole that overwise would be experiencing homelessness. Within the Tiny Homes we are able to teach young people life life skills to help them have independent long term life success.
