The PKD foundation is the only organization dedicated to find a treatment and a cure for PKD and improve the lives it affects. Our mission: We give hope, we fund research, advocate for patients and build a community for all those affected. Polycystic kidney disease is a hereditary kidney disease that affects 1 in 500 people. The walk for PKD is our signature fundraising event held in 60 cities across the country and 100% of funds raised go directly to life saving research. The Boston Walk is the 2nd highest funraising walk in the country thanks to our 300+ walkers and a caring community who helps by donating goods and products to our event
