The Plano West Band Boosters is an organization formed of all Plano West High School Band parents and directors. The Boosters assist the band directors, where needed, allowing them more time to focus on developing the studends' talents, by coordinating activities for the band and where necessary, providing additional resources. Booster funds supplement the limited funds allotted by PISD.
The Band Boosters provide volunteers as chaperones and helpers for games, competitions, concerts, fundraisers and many other activities. It also provides funds for new equipment needs, for clinicians and instructors for band camps, for the creation of marching drills, for custom music arrangements and for TMEA Convention for Band Directors. The Boosters provide support in any other area the directors consider necessary.
