Playhouse is a nonprofit, co-operative school providing quality preschool and kindergarten education founded on a belief of learning through play since 1951. We serve a diverse body of over 100 students from West Orange, South Orange, Maplewood, Montclair, Glen Ridge, Bloomfield and other area communities. By offering partial day and full-day school programs with sliding scale tuition and scholarships, we are able to include children of all economic backgrounds. In so doing, the children and their families are exposed to a wonderfully integrated cooperative community.
