PHCC of North Carolina is dedicated to advancing and educating plumbing, heating, and cooling professionals throughout the state for their growth, to protect the health, safety, and comfort of our communities, and protect our environment.Â
The fundamental purpose that drives PHCC of NC is the desire to serve its members for their benefit and growth. To fulfill that purpose, we envision being the leading resource provider for education, expertise, and business enhancement services for the plumbing, heating, and cooling contractors in North Carolina and serving as the voice of these industries on a local, state, and national level. Our service to the plumbing, heating, and cooling industries is evident as we encourage and facilitate the education, expertise, and professionalism of our contractor and associate members and the industry at large for their benefit, and the safety and well-being of the industry the general public.
The PHCC Academy of North Carolina Apprenticeship Program was created in 2016 for employees of PHCC of NC Member companies. These are online plumbing and HVACR apprentice courses for apprentices who need a non-classroom-based method of receiving their apprenticeship instruction. The Foundation’s PHCC Academy courses offer a consistent experience for companies training many apprentices over time, with course materials developed by industry experts. Our training is offered through a professional, education-focused Learning Management System (LMS) that is easy to access and use. It is a comprehensive 4 module, training course combining on-the-job training under the direction of experienced workers, and related instruction through online classes.
