Pocono Mountain Christian School began in 2022 in the heart of the Poconos, PA. We are a non profit, private school that currently has 45 students, 8 staff menbers/teachers and 5 volunteers. We know that many families desire to have school choice and there are not many options in the Poconos. We are dedicated to provide quality Christian education in a safe and loving environment. With small class sizes and a movement rich, multi sensory learning environment, PMCS is a place where children can flourish. Since, we are a private 501(c)(3), we rely on fundraisers throughout the year to help our small school continue to flourish. We are a small school that hopes to continue to make a big impact within our community. Our students are involved in many service projects. They have donated items to Operation Christmas Child and have collected goods and clothing for local food banks and clothing closets. Our 6th and 7th grade classes volunteer at the Special Olympics, hosted by East Stroudsburg Area School District and clean up a local park. We hope to get more involved with our community as we continue to grow as a school.
