The Daly City Police Athletic League is a committed all-volunteer board consisting of Daly City Police Officers and members of our community. We are a truly non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1957. Our mission is to build a partnership between our youth, the police, and the community through recreational, athletic and educational programs designed to encourage our youth to develop good citizenship and leadership, reduce the incidence of juvenile delinquency, and improve the quality of life as our young people grow up to become successful and contributing members of the community.

Each year, through independent fundraising and with the support of our generous community partners, the Daly City Police Athletic League helps offset the costs to families, so hundreds of boys and girls have the opportunity to participate in sports camps, organized leagues, and our Police Explorer Program. In addition, the Daly City Police Athletic League has an educational component called the Daly City Police Athletic League Educational Scholarship Foundation, referred to as PAL-Ed. Through PAL-Ed, educational college scholarships are awarded annually to youth recipients to assist with their college education.
