The Pony Barnes Foundation believes in the power of camp to build young leaders, connect families and communities, and enable individuals to achieve their true human potential. The LGBTQ+ community now, more than ever, needs the immersive and nurturing experiences that only camp can provide. That's why we are dedicated to supporting camp experiences that promote belonging and connections for LGBTQ+ youth and their families.
To achieve our mission, we provide grant funding to California camps to build more opportunities for LGBTQ+ youth and their families to experience belonging and connections. This year, we have impacted over 8000 campers across California through our work.
