Prevent Blindness Texas, a state-wide health non-profit, has been directly resposible for saving the sight and enhancing the quality of vision life for thousands of underserved adults and children across Texas. PBT provides critical vision care to Texas' most vulnerable citizens by providing screening services, eye health exams, eye wear when needed, and referral resources when further care when required. Last year alone, PBT provided vision education and screening services to over 27,000 children and adults, provided financial resources to over 40,000 individuals and certified over 1000 screeners through the only nationl certification program of its kind.
