Prevention Action Alliance leads healthy communities in the prevention of substance misuse and promotion of mental health wellness.  We equip individuals, families and communities with knowledge on how to prevent substance misuse.  We decrease stigma related to mental health and promote mental health wellness and related protective factors. We educate individuals, families and communities in evidence-based practices so that all communities can thrive. We empower those communities to advocate for policies which promote healthy communities and decrease the risk for substance misuse. We serve the state of Ohio with four prevention networks that build the capacity of community coalitions, youth-led prevention groups, colleges and universities, and grieving families.

Our public health campaigns are used nationwide as environmental prevention strategies to decrease substance misuse.
