The Probation Association of New Jersey Education Fund Inc. (PANJ-EF), is organized to foster and enhance training and educational opportunities for Probation Officers, Supervisors and related titles. PANJ-EF has two major events each year: A golf outing to raise money for scholarships and our annual conference that is attended by over 600 people.

The annual conference provides up-to-date training and relevant courses that allow probation officers and supervisors the ability to better serve the citizens of New Jersey who utilize the court system. During the conference, PANJ-EF awards at least five $2,000.00 scholarships to individuals who are pursuing four-year degrees in criminal justice or a related field. In addition, PANJ-EF honors the William H. Thomas Citizen of the Year by recognizing their work in the community and making a donation to the individual or their organization. Each year, PANJ-EF strives to raise over $100,000 in order to provide our members with the education they need to provide the best possible service to New Jersey citizens
