The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) at P.S. 18 Edward Bush was formed in 2017 as a partnership between parents and educators who strive to enhance student learning and enrich the lives of the students within the school.
Over the past 4 years, the PTA has produced a number of community events from street clean-ups, to coat, toy & school supplies drives and seasonal outdoor festivals. We even have an outdoor community FreeStore Kiosk to provide our neighbors with the basic essentials, school supplies, food, clothing they may need but may not be able to afford.
Through fundraising, we have provided educational clubs, programs, and events for students and families. What makes our PTA truly great is not just our commitment to linking families to important school and community information but also fostering a bond in our community.
