Background and goals of our organization: Our organization is a non profit Title 1 New York City public school. Our mission at The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School is to challenge students to achieve their personal best and empower them to become productive and independent individuals. We believe in nurturing the gifts and talents that each child possesses as they journey through elementary school. The staff is committed to creating learning environments that promote academic rigor, innovative technology, as well as a sense of individuality to address the needs of our diverse learners. We are committed to partnering with the JKO families and the Richmond Hill community to maximize each student’s potential.
* Intended use of the donation: The intended use of the donation will be used toward a raffle to fundraise for the students in our low income, Title 1 school. 86% of our students presently do not have the financial resources to buy supplies, uniforms, or participate in field trips. We would like to be able to support these students for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
