PS32 is a Brooklyn based school for all types of exceptional learners from highly diverse ethnic, racial and economic backgrounds. It’s the only District 15 school that combines a mixed-income general education program, a Gifted & Talented program and a NEST/ASD program that is a model for educating children on the autism spectrum. Our school zone includes both beautiful brownstone Brooklyn and the Gowanus Housing project and because of the rapid development of the surrounding area, PS32 has recently lost critical Title One funding.
The PTA of PS32 supports the students, teachers, administrators who are dedicated to fostering young people’s learning, curiosity, and creativity. We fund a visiting authors program and an expanded visual arts curriculum. We also grew our school wide gardening program to include a dedicated teacher last year. Your contribution this year would help us maintain these programs while increasing our STEM and arts enrichments, providing more opportunities for collaborative and project based learning in our classrooms.
