Our youth group is currently raising the funds needed to travel on a summer mission trip to Anchorage Alaska to assist with earthquake disaster recovery and rebuilding. Our youth as a whole decided when the earthquakes happened that they wanted to travel there to assist the communities that had been impacted by the earthquake. Every year for the past 35 years, our youth has traveled all around the world to assist with poverty related issues, storm cleanup/rebuilding and just spreading hope and love to those in their time of need. Past trips include, Nicaragua, Haiti, Puerto Rico and many places within the United States as well. We believe these service trips are very important for our youth to learn first hand what it means to serve others and our hope is that they will carry this love of serving others into their adult lives.
