The Perkiomen Valley High school's Post Prom Association hosts a drug and alcohol-free party with entertainment, food, and raffle prizes immediately following the prom each year. The most important aspect of this event is that the students are safe. The Post Prom event is free to all juniors and seniors regardless of whether they attend the actual prom and is typically attended by over 300 students and involves over 100 volunteers. Hosting such an event requires a lot of support, hard work, and commitment on the part of the parents, the school, and the many sponsors in the community.
One in three teen accidents or fatalities occur during prom season. Events like ours offer an opportunity and choice to extend the evening in a safe and fun environment.
Support from the business community is vital to the success of this event. Your support will help us provide a safe and memorable night of activities, valuable prizes and great food for the students. We rely solely on donations to provide this safe environment to students and would love to reward as many of them as we can for making a positive choice to attend.
