Race for the Kids is a local non-profit organization located in Monroe County. This organization was started in 2013, to raise awareness for Williams Syndrome as well as the Children’s Miracle Network. Since then, we have expanded to assist families in and around our community that have children who are suffering from life threatening medical illnesses. In our nine years, we have helped 19 families with bills, hospital activities, gift cards for gas, gift cards for food etc. The Race for the Kids will be held on June 4, 2022 at St. Joseph School in Erie, Michigan. The Race consists of a 5K timed run as well as a 1 mile family fun walk. After the race there are silent auctions, live auctions, raffles, face painters, bounce houses and opportunities for pictures with costumed characters. Your donation would be used for a silent auction item or a live auction item to help us raise money to assist these families in need. It is a fun morning for everyone in the family.
