We founded Raices in the Fall of 2021 with a simple goal, to increase the representation of Hispanics, Latinos, Latinas and LatinX in the cyber workforce which currently stands at ONLY 4%. I could never have imaged that in a short two and half years we would have chapters in over 17 cities and 2 international locations.
We have held over 50 educational events reaching thousands of Latinos and sparking their love for the field. This year, with your support, we aim to reach even more Hispanics and, for the first time, reach the youth in secondary schools to start the Raices Cyber Youth Corps Program.
