Our fundraising event would help towards purchasing new technology for our school. With the BBQ we are hoping to strengthen relationships amongst the community, staff, students and their families by sitting together and enjoying a juicy hot dog on a beautiful sunny day or by playing games together. We would like to enhance the positivity of the school climate by building those relationships once more with families and community members. Your support with this fundraising event would be greatly appreciated.
Our school has a student population of 200 students. Many of our families are newcomers to Canada and will benefit greatly by this welcoming event. We anticipate that most of our school community will attend along with community members and past students. We anticipate 300-400 people in attendance.
