Our mission is to prevent homelessness by empowering people in the face of emergencies with rapid support.

Purpose
The most important first step for anyone experiencing homelessness is to find shelter. Rapid Response Housing Solutions raises funds and awareness to prevent homelessness in North County San Diego. We work in partnership with social service agencies and other organizations to provide provide immediate assistance (24-72 hours) to prevent people at risk of experiencing homelessness.
We help at the most critical stage so that people are able to get on their feet as quickly as possible. For example, we provide immediate cash assistance to prevent eviction or to get a car repaired or buy a bus pass so that someone doesn’t lose a job due to lack of transportation.
We are filling a need that is common among government agencies and private non-profits serving the homeless community and those on the verge of becoming unhoused - and that is rapid assistance in the face of emergencies.
We work with many partners actively committed to serving our community and dedicated to the well-being of those who are struggling to put a posada, or shelter, over their heads.
