My name is Sarah Stepp, I am the Independent Living Specialist for REACH, Inc. of the Denton office.  R.E.A.C.H. Inc. (Rehabilitation, Education, and Advocacy for Citizens with Handicaps) is a North Texas based non-profit (501c3) corporation located in Fort Worth, Dallas, Denton and Plano and is governed and staffed by a majority of people with disabilities.

REACH’s mission is providing services for people with disabilities so that they are empowered to lead self-directed lives and educating the general public about disability related topics in order to promote a barrier free community.

We are preparing for our annual Young adult self-advocacy Camp. Our goal during the camp is to enrich young adults with disabilities and help them transition from high school into independent living. In addition, to assist our youth learn how they can be successful while independent.

We respectfully request support by asking your establishment to donate to our camp. Your donations could be cash, check, gift cards, or even door prizes.

If you have any questions regarding REACH’s services or about our young adult camp, please do not hesitate to contact me at the Denton Office.  We would also like to personally extend an invitation to visit any our offices and meet the rest of the staff.   Thank you very much for considering this request and we appreciate your prompt response in this matter.
