Rebuilding Together is a volunteer organization dedicated to rehabilitiing the houses of low income homeowners, particularly the elderly, disabled, veterans and families with children. The renovations are provided at no cost to the homeowner. Renovations create homes that are safer, warmer, more energy efficient and many focus on accessiblity.

Rebuiliding utilizes volunteers, money and donated materials to rebuilding the homes of Manchester residents. Most of the work is performed on a "rebuilding day" in April. Year round emergency repairs are done on an as needed basis where funding is available. Volunteer committees have been established to handle the logistics of the program such as house selection, fundraising, volunteer management, publicity and day of operations.
