Refuge of Hope Peru is a Dallas-based non-profit that embraces a holistic approach, equipping at-risk children, teenagers, and families from low-income communities to live abundantly. We offer tutoring, academic classes, college scholarships, social skills workshops, family support, parenting classes, home visits, and Bible studies to break the cycles of poverty. Refuge of Hope Peru is unique in its commitment to impart hope in each area of life.

Refuge of Hope Peru's target population includes vulnerable children and families at-risk of falling into cycles of poverty, violence, abuse, and more. We extend our services to entire families to impact the community at large in the shantytown of Huaycan, Peru. Our program serves children in elementary school through university. In 2022, our organization provided services and support for over 200 children and their families. Many of our families live without running water or electricity, living in shacks built on the side of a rocky, dusty mountain.

We work with children to change families, families to change the community, and the community to change the world.  Through our services, we have helped children, teenagers, and families survive and thrive after situations of abuse, neglect, poverty, depression, violence, learning disabilities, behavioral problems, and so much more.
