Reins of Rhythm Riding and Horsemanship. Reins of Rhythm is a volunteer run, non-profit organization, 501c3 (EIN # is 45-529644) founded in 2008, with a mission of providing an inclusive environment to local young people by joining able-bodied, special need, and disadvantaged youth in a shared love and appreciation for horses as athletes, companions, and therapy partners. We provide positive, life changing activities that help youth build friendships, confidence, social skills, and many other benefits.
Some participants use our services specifically for therapeutic purposes and others use the horses to help build confidence, self-esteem, focus, attention span, and team work skills and literacy enrichment and empowerment. We use the horses to help bridge that all too common gap and barrier that society has created between special need and able- bodied children, teaching them to work together and focus on abilities.
