We fundraise for the American Cancer Society in Northeast Iowa. Much of the funds raised stay in the Midwest with research grants going to the University of Iowa. The American Cancer Society serves everyone one regardless of gender or age. They help people find answers and resources, whether they want to understand their diagnosis or treatment options, how to cope with side-effects, or find transportation or a place to stay when treatments are far from home.
The American Cancer Society is a leading cancer-fighting organization with a vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. We are improving the lives of people with cancer and their families as the only organization combating cancer through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
