The mission of the American Cancer Soeicty is to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research and patient support to ensure everyone has the opportunoty to prevent, detect, treat and survive cancer.
In White Bear Lake, our Relay For Life is now in its 29th year raising funds to support this mission. Each year in WBL, we raise more than $100,000. Funds support research at the UofM, free rides to chemotherapy, and free night stays for famlies at our Hope Lodge in Minneaplis for famlies traveling for treatment in the Twin Cities.
