The ResponsiveEd organization of schools started in 1999 as tuition-free, public charter schools dedicated to helping at-risk high school students achieve their potential. ResponsiveEd is about options in education and include at-risk, former dropout recovery students, and college-bound students. Strongly tied to the community, the mission of ResponsiveEd is to provide hope for students through educational options that promote a free society and cultivate moral and academic excellence. Today, after twenty-five years in operation, ResponsiveEd serves more than 25,000 students on more than 100 campuses across Texas and Arkansas through five distinct educational models. Our 3,500 team members remain dedicated to a highly focused moral and civics education mission to provide hope for all children.
