Our organization’s culture of inclusion allows us to provide services to everyone at risk or currently experiencing homelessness. We accept people as they are and don’t require those asking for help to attest to a differing belief, religious affiliation, or traditional family structure.
reStart offers the only emergency youth shelter in the urban core of Kansas City, providing safe haven, a warm bed, and three meals a day for youths aged 12-17. Youth services provided in our shelters include:
-Youth and family counseling and therapy
-Life skills and financial literacy classes
-Housing assistance
-Substance Abuse and recovery
-Health and nutritional education and activities
-Field trips, recreational activities, and more —
