Retrieving Independence is a Nashville based service dog organization that trains and places service dogs with people who are living with physical, mental or emotional disabilities. RI's mission is to harness love, dignity and change to transform lives. Our innovative dog training program uses the human-animal bond to offer rehabilitation to inmate-trainers, community to our dedicated volunteer corps, and greater independence to people living with disabilities.
