Since 1979, Richmond Animal League has been finding homes for homeless dogs and cats in the Richmond area. Believing in the no-kill philosophy since the beginning, we are the area’s oldest no-kill shelter. RAL’s mission is that of saving lives—providing hope, help, and homes for animals in need. Richmond Animal League is a 501c3 non-profit and is dedicated to reducing the homeless pet population in Central VA by providing temporary housing, medical treatment, sterilization, and care until adopted.
