Do you think that elementary science education is important? Do you know a budding scientist making potions in her spare time, asking questions about the universe, or wondering about climate change? Perhaps you are a scientist yourself and want to ensure that we raise a new generation of talented researchers, doctors, and thinkers? Sadly, Rincon Valley Unified School District is unable to cover the full cost of hands-on STEM learning at our elementary schools.
Thanks to community and parent support, Rincon Valley Education Foundation continues to supplementally fund the STEM program at each of the eight elementary schools in our district. This program is unique to our district and provides the opportunity for each student to experience hands-on STEM education. Each STEM lesson is coordinated with classroom teachers so that every student is able to participate in engaging, hands-on science experiments on a regular basis.
The Rincon Valley Education Foundation is hosting our first event in over 3 years! This year’s EVENING OUT FOR EDUCATION will be held on March 8, 2024. This fun evening will include a silent and live auction, dinner and dancing. Proceeds will allow the STEM program to continue to inspire curious young minds.
We are reaching out because we need your help. When you donate to the event's silent auction your company name and/or logo will also be displayed as the donor during the auction. In addition to the attention your company will receive during the event, your business will be listed on the RVEF website for the 2024-2025 school year.
