The Ripon Volunteer Fireman's Association's (RVFA) mission is to provide manpower to the Ripon Consolidated Fire District. All volunteers receive ongoing training and are required to attend monthly meetings and drills. They receive training in fire suppression, EMS, wildland, auto extrication, ladders, water rescue, and equipment. Members of the RVFA are key to keeping the residents and businesses within the fire districts 56 sq. miles safe.
