MIssion: To raise funds to provide enrichment for students.
We’re reaching out to you regarding the upcoming Rippleside Elementary Annual Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser. This event is being organized by the Rippleside Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).
How it works: The students will be collecting pledges from friends, family & neighbors. All funds raised will go to the PTO to be used for grades Kindergarten through 6th to attend field trips, Family Fun Nights, TV Busters, Literacy Challenges, Math Incentives, special equipment, music enrichment, art programs & more. This is our main fundraiser for the year. We do not ask students to sell overpriced items that they only receive a percentage of the profit on. All money raised by students for the Walk-A-Thon is 100% profit! The Walk-A-Thon is a great way to get students directly involved with the fundraising process; it helps them build social skills & confidence all while getting exercise along the way.
How can you help:
Donate prizes-To reward students for their hard work we plan to hold drawings for prizes.
What do you get: In return for your generosity, you will receive several “shout outs” on social media and the school website, recognition in the local paper as well as the school newsletter.
