River of Comfort Ministry (ROCM) helps abandoned elderly in Narok, Kenya have a safe place to rest/stay and food to eat. Kenya doesn't have the infrastructure for a government subsidized nursing home/elder care program, so many elderly people find themselves in desparate circumstances with no one to care for them. This organization does so much to provide for the needs of the seniors in this community and it is amazing to see the transformation they experience by living at ROCM. There are currently 11 residents living and receiving care at their facility daily. They also have monthly events for the impoverished of the community to come for a meal and a small amount of food to bring back to their homes.
