The community of west metro Denver was rocked by the suicide of Robbie Eckert in 2018.  Robbie was 15 years-old and an accomplished student and athelete.  Unbeknownst to his family and friends he was silently struggling with his mental health.  On the outside he was the "happy and gregarious" kid that everyone wanted to be friends with.  His parents, friends, and teammates wanted to change the dialog around mental health with teens, to let them know that It Was Ok to Not Be Ok and that their was always H.O.P.E. (hold on pain ends).

Today Robbie's Hope has grown to a national, teen lead, organization with over 4,000+ teen ambassadors across the country.  Teens that are in their schools and communities working to destigmitize teen mental health and normalize conversations about depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention.

It is or mission to cut the rate of teen suicide in half by 2028, and we are succeeding.  Rates in Colorado have plumeted over the past several years.  We are seeing similar success in areas where we are over indexed with Ambassadors like Illinois, Indiana, and Massachusets.  Together, we can achieve our mission.
