Robert Louis Stevenson (RLS) is a San Francisco central Sunset district public K-5 elementary school serving students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. More than 50% of our student body comes from underserved or low-income families. RLS consistently ranks among the top elementary schools in the district, achieving “Distinguished” status from the CA dept of education - only one of five such designated schools in all the SFUSD. Our success is owed to the generous support from our dedicated teachers, involved parents, and caring community.
RLS’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA, www.rlspta.org) provides essential programs for our students, beyond SFUSD-provided budgets. This year, those programs include:

Visual and performing arts
Gardening education program
Stipends for school supplies
RLS community building events
