The Rockland County YMCA is dedicated to bringing meaningful change to individuals and communities. We are a non-profit organization with a 501 (c)(3) status, and its mission is to empower youth, promote healthy living, and strengthen community connections. The Rockland County YMCA achieves its goal for youth development by providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and teenagers to grow and thrive. The YMCA in Rockland County is the largest provider of Before and After School Care. We offer childcare at 22 sites in six school districts in the county. We also offer a Y’s Beginnings Preschool program for toddlers and preschoolers. The YMCA also provides after-school activities like leadership development and mentoring programs for youth and teens to help young people build the skills and confidence they need for the future.

The Rockland County YMCA achieves its goal for healthy living by providing fitness, wellness, and recreational programs, swimming lessons, and health education for youth, teens, seniors, and adults. They aim to help individuals and families lead healthier lives through physical activity and nutrition. The Rockland County YMCA partners with many local organizations like the Nyack Senior Center, Creative Aging, Head Start Preschool, and many more to provide healthy activities and wellness programs to keep children and adults active.

The YMCA offers scholarships for both membership, programs, and other community services to all incomes, ages, races, faiths, and abilities.
