Rocky Creek Youth Ranch supports underserved youth (ages 6-18) by advocating, empowering, and preparing youth who are at risk and are struggling with behavioral, emotional, or co-occurring diagnoses regardless of (race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, creed, etc.). We provide a safe, structured, trauma-informed/ person-centered therapeutic and educational environment during their rehabilitation process, to provide a roadmap for success in their lives.
Our approach to residential treatment is trauma informed, person centered, strength based, individualized, and family focused. We house youth from ages 6 through 18. We currently can house 8 girls and 32 boys. Rocky Creek Youth Ranch stresses the importance of helping youth put past traumatic events behind them, developing coping skills along with healthy relationships.
Master level therapists provide individual, group, and family therapy on a weekly basis. In addition, crisis and trauma counseling is provided as needed. Therapists and case managers are the central contact for family and internal communication.
Family therapy is a critical component of Rocky Creek Youth Ranch and is provided face to face if possible, by a Master level therapist. In addition, family therapy is a critical component towards treatment and reunification with family as the primary goal. This process is supported via phone and other communication methods depending on location and family availability.
Group and individual therapy are provided multiple times each week by master level therapists to address individualized needs of the youth in treatment. Additional therapy is provided based on the concerns of the youth who struggle with substance and/or sexual abuse and education is provided. Therapeutic milieu processes and skill building groups are provided multiple times each week.
Rocky Creek Youth Ranch provides lodging, food, recreation and 24-hour supervision by Behavior Health Technicians trained in person-centered care using a trauma informed approach, state of the art security and monitoring systems, crisis intervention, de-escalation procedures and structured recreational activities. Youth group meetings/ therapy can enhance an overall development with a focus on emotional, social, anger management, conflict resolution, problem solving, and self-esteem building.
