Located in historic Rocky Hill, New Jersey, RHCNS is fully certified, non-profit and non-sectarian.
The school provides a play-based preschool experience for up to 18 students ages 3-5 that emphasizes family, community and exploration. Hands-on child-led experiences, field trips, nature and parent involvement help provide a developmentally appropriate education. We focus on preparing children to be socially, emotionally and intellectually ready for Kindergarten.
Our parents volunteer their time and talent to coordinate all administrative aspects of the nursery school as well as contribute as helping parents in the classroom throughout the year. Cooperation is demonstrated by example and emphasized in the classroom. Our students understand the value of working together and develop respect for the different strengths and talents that we all possess – teachers, parents and children alike.
For more than 50 years, parents and teachers have worked together to create this very special pre-school community for Rocky Hill, Montgomery, Princeton, Hillsborough, Hopewell, Kendall Park, Kingston, Franklin, South Brunswick and surrounding areas.
