At Ronald McDonald House of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana (RMHC-CNI), we believe that when a child is sick, a family is sick. We exist to help families gets better, together. RMHC-CNI’s goals center on the belief that a parent should never have to make a potentially life or death decision for their child based on access to treatment. Our three core programs - Ronald McDonald Houses, Ronald McDonald (in-hospital) Family Rooms, and Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles - transform the ways in which families access health care & treatment by serving as a bridge for families to access high-quality healthcare.
Each night, through our six Ronald McDonald Houses, and four Ronald McDonald (in-hospital) Family Rooms we keep 172 families close to the care and resources they need. Enabling families to stay close to their hospitalized child supports the child’s health and well-being while saving families more than $10 million in hotel and food costs each year.
