Ross’ Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that helps to relieve some of the financial and emotional stress on families that have a child battling cancer. Every day, 36 children in the United States are diagnosed with cancer, and of those 36, seven will not survive. Unfortunately, my 3-year-old grandson, Ross, was one of those seven. In his memory, we are dedicated to making the battle a little easier for a number of families each year. We contact families to find out their needs and then make a financial donation. The money we provide can be used for medical expenses, household bills, or to just get away on a short vacation and recharge. Cancer can take a toll on an entire family. It is our hope that we are able to help ease at least some of the financial stress during such a difficult time.
